He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce; his children, Steven (Sally), Rodney (Pamela) of Stapleton, Gary (Linda) of Thedford and Gloria Witthuhn of Arnold; his stepdaughters, Patricia Lewis (Dave) of Lincoln and Connie Luers (Daryl) of Wahoo; his grandchildren, George Schaeffer (Jill), Matthew Schaeffer (Melissa), Greg Schaeffer (Stefani), Todd Schaeffer (Addie), Matthew Schatz, Marisa Baxter (Josh), Orrin Schaeffer (Becca), JuliAnna Schaeffer (Kyle), Shelly Witthuhn, Kenneth Witthuhn (Michelene), Traci Logsdon (Darin), Jennifer Nicholson (Jedd), Kylene Littrel (Robert), Brett Schaeffer (Holly), Kristina Neben (Tyler), Derek Schaeffer (Dessie), Trystan McKillip (Alec), Drew Schaeffer, Jon Lewis, Julie Schlote (Josh), Katie Frieden (Dan) and Kelsy Hays (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Robert, Luella Joedeman, Harold, Mary Joedeman, Rose Wonch, C. E. and Willa Hendrich. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
