He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Prusa and Elsie Prusa (Erychleb); his brothers, Joe Prusa (Georgeann) and Richard Prusa; and his in-laws, Milo Karel, Longin, Dorothy Karel, Shirley and Alvin Stodola.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Rose Karel of Mary's Catholic Church; and his children, Longin Prusa (Julie) of Norfolk, Cheryl Wolverton (Al) of Stanton, John Prusa (Rhonda) of Stanton, Jim Prusa (Deb) of Effingham, Sandra Race (Mike) of Stanton and Barb Kelley (Doug) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
