He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Vollbrecht and Retta Vollbrecht (Patzel); his former wives, Viola Long and Elsie Daum; his siblings, Ervin, Elsie, LaVerna, Edna, Ruth, Raymond, Mirle, Herman August, Loretta, Calvin and Harley; and his great grandchild Kiefer Daniel.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Ann (Terry Daniel), Arnold "Butch" (Donna Vollbrecht), Nancy (Richard Hunt), JoAnn Buckendahl of Kenesaw, NE, Don (Cindy Vollbrecht) and Ron Vollbrecht of Stanton; his stepchildren, Connie Sue, Leon Schulz of Hadar, Dennis, Lageane Daum of Yankton, Chris, Andy Noelle of Norfolk, Cindy Janssen and Dick Walton of Norfolk; and his grandchildren, Nick, Cory, Teri Daniel, Heidi Hunt, Robin Ellingson, Richard Hunt, Jessica Durham, Todd, Tony Vollbrecht, Joe, Jeff, Mindy Buckendahl, Tara Schmidt, Eric Schroeder and Jordan Schroeder. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren.
