It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth P. Petersen of Stanton, Nebraska, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Petersen and Lillian Petersen (Hansen); and his siblings, Carolyn and Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Simpson; his children, Kelly Reese (John) of Stanton and Tom Petersen (Christi) of Sioux Falls; his grandsons, Jarrod Reese (Kiki) and Nick Reese; his great grandchildren, Zach, Max, Alex, Alek, Corah, Olivia, Isaac and Layla; his sister Susie Payne of Virginia; and his sister-in-law Julie Petersen of Randolph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
