It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vernon Davidson of Stanton, Nebraska, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Davidson and Lillian Davidson (Kingsley); his wife June Petersen; his son James Scott; his son-in-law Dean Johnson; his siblings, Arlene Cisler (Anton) and Don Davidson (Jeanette); and his siblings-in-law, Dale Schellpeper and Elsie Davidson.

He is survived by: his children, Deb Johnson of Littleton, CO, Dan Davidson (Dee Ann) of Waterloo, Greg Davidson (Kathy) of Omaha, Brad Davidson (Tracey) of Lincoln and Phil Davidson (Mary) of Omaha; and his siblings, LaVonne Schellpeper of Stanton and Axel "Bud" Davidson, Jr. of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
