He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Horst and Vernie Horst; his wife Sandra Kurz; and his sisters, Nila Hasenkamp and Shirley Horst.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Horst of Wisner, Karen Petersen (Ivan) of Norfolk and Debra Wegener (Eric) of Bassett; and his grandchildren, Marshall, Mason (Kylie), Kendra Petersen (Kamren Lingenfelter), Aleksus, Clayton and Landen Wegener. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (506 16th St, Stanton, NE 68779). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
