He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Raasch and LaVerne Raasch (Scheibe); his former wife Janet K. Butterfield; and his sisters, Jean Albers and Norma Dryer.

He is survived by: his wife Lynnette Mrsny of Stanton; his children, Kim Hannon (Rick) of Evans, Peg Paulsen (Michael) of Hoskins, Shelly Herscheid (Jim) of Stanton and Scott Raasch of Niobrara; his stepchildren, Brandy Easley and Marty Easley of Stanton; his siblings, Marjorie Raasch of Norfolk and Donald Raasch of Lincoln; his brothers-in-law, Dennis Mrsny (Mary) of Norfolk and Scott Mrsny (Amy) of Jordan, Arkansas; and his pet PeeWee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
