It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice D Cole Sr. of Stamford, Nebraska, born in Alma, Nebraska, who passed away on May 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alanison E. Viola and Hulda Viola; his wife Beth Joy Loose; his brothers, Eddie Dale, James Cole (Janice) and Dean Cole (Bernice); and his sons-in-law, Steve Anderson and E. J. Platt.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Bodenheimer (Gary) of Holdrege, Cynthia Anderson of Edgewater, Florida, Maureen Reyes (Xaiver Reyes, Sr.) of Lamesa, Texas and Maurice Cole, Jr. of Franklin, Nebraska; his siblings, Rebecca Cantrall of Florida, Roberta Martin of Florida and Darrell Cole of Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Vickie Huggett (Paul) of Bertrand and Ophelia Loose of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
A memorial has been established in Maurice's honor and kindly suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
