She was predeceased by: her son Ronald Eugene; her sister Wilma Tams; her half-sister Delores Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Leo Tams, Glen Tams, Warren Nelson, Helen Tams and Carolyn Schmalken.
She is survived by: her parents, John Oliver and Esther Rolena Schmalken (Russell); her spouse Dale Tams; her children, Victoria, Rolena T. Novak (Lou) of Oxford and Vicki R. Gammage (Ron) of Stamford; her granddaughter Hope Garman of Laurens, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Devon Garman and Trinity Garman of Laurens; and her half-brother Gary Schmalken of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
