He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ehrke of Stamford; his children, Leslie Smith (Terry) of Holbrook, Nebraska, Leah Ehrke of Chandler, Arizona, Lisa Hirschfeld (Matthew) of Gilbert, Arizona, Leon Ehrke (Janell) of Orleans, Nebraska and Lyle Ehrke of Los Angeles, California; and his grandchildren, Lona, Katie, Terry Lee, Brandi Smith, Cole Uptagraft (Jana), Gavin Uptagraft, Parker Ehrke, DeAngelo and Adric Hirschfeld. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
