With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis G. Riha of Springfield, Nebraska, born in Bellevue, Nebraska, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis P. Riha and Mary Riha; his siblings, Shirley Riha, Billy and Theodore Riha; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Hrabik and JoAnne Hrabik.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Riha (Hrabik); his siblings, Frank Riha (Kathleen), Vic Riha (Bev), Vince Riha (Jo Ellen), Tom Riha (Jan), Mary Ann, Lil Cabiness (Bill), Julie Diehm (Ed), Ev Hans, Virginia Baye (Mike) and Barb Widhalm (Russ); and his siblings-in-law, Jan and Stan Hrabik (Lil). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, numerous God children, grand nieces and nephews.
One of those projects was the purchase and donation of a railroad trail in Sarpy County, which is used by thousands for walking and bike riding.
