He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Klausen and Evelyn Klausen (Middleton). He is survived by: his wife Garna Doescher; his sons, Greg (Fran), Mark (Kay) and Brian (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Zach, Jordin (Miles), Taylor (Ryan), Austin (Jenni), Alex (Sammie), Seth and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Ella, Shay, Nora and Landon; and his siblings, Rita Johnson (Harold) and Roger Klausen (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
