He is survived by: his wife Connie Boettcher of Spencer; his children, Jessica Birk (Raymond) of Spencer, Nicholas Boettcher (Abbigail) of Omaha and Shauna Boettcher of O'Neill; his grandchildren, Mathias Boettcher, Gabriella Boettcher (Raziel Rinke), Nathaniel Boettcher, Bethany Birk, Jacob Birk, Corbin Boettcher and Leila Boettcher; and his siblings, Ted Boettcher (Karen) of Wichita, Dr. Charles Boettcher (Julie) of North Platte and Betty Archuletta (Phil) of Gladstone, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
