He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Prouty and Lorena Prouty (Herrell); his brothers, Ray Prouty (Ruth), Clyde Prouty (Vernice), Ed Prouty (Rose) and Rob Prouty (Lavonne); his brother-in-law Dave Strickler; his nephew James Prouty; his niece Lucy Russell; and his great-niece Kelly Plugge.
He is survived by: his sister Nina Strickler; and his siblings-in-law, John Prouty (Kathy), Cathy Scheinost (Greg), Peg Plugge (Bob), Steve Prouty (Denise), Tom Prouty (Mary), Cindy Schwalenberg (Jim), Mike Stuck, Mark Stuck, Shelly Scoggins (Steve), Donna Waataja (Robert) and Kenneth Prouty.
