He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mailander and Angela Mailander (Pfeifer); his son Chad; and his parents-in-law, Earl and LaVonna Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Mailander of Spalding, NE; his daughter Jessica McIntyre (Jared) of Lincoln, NE; his grandson Jett McIntyre of Lincoln, NE; his siblings, Mark Mailander (Mary Sue) of Spalding, NE and Janet Fletcher (Greg) of Grove, OK; and his sisters-in-law, Rhonda and Fran. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
