He is survived by: his wife Elva Mahony of Spalding, NE; his children, John Mahony (Amanda) of Kansas City, MO, Matt Mahony (Amy) of New York City, NY, Bill Mahony (Melody) of Lincoln, NE, Mike Mahony (Sara) of Spalding, NE, Cortney Ryan (Shawn) of Kearney, NE, Tim Mahony (Stephanie) of Kearney, NE and Tom Mahony (Emily) of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Patrick, Max, Connor, Ellie, Scout, Colt, Grace, Ryann, Jake, Myah, Jack, Colleen, Brett, Grady, Drew, London, Natalie, Callum and Hayden; his siblings, Bette Boyle, Charlene Boyle, Pauline Carr, Charles Mahony (Diane), Agnes Halverson (Paul), Mike Mahony (Kim), Rosemary Cooley, Kevin Mahony (Patty) and Theresa Parker (Gary); and his brothers-in-law, Frank Rohde and Jim Gallagher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Spalding EMS/Rescue unit or Spalding Senior Center.
