He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Sr. Kleffner and Esther Kleffner (Heineman); his daughter Christine Kleffner; and his brothers, Richard and Robert Kleffner.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Jo Zoucha of Spalding, NE; his uncle Norald Heldt; his sons, Troy Kleffner of Spalding, NE and Kevin Kleffner of Bossier City, LA; his grandchildren, Kelly Kleffner of Norfolk, NE, Klayton Kleffner of Spalding, NE, Sydney Tisdel of Dawson, NE, Victoria Kleffner (Kevin Talley) of Japan and Trey Kleffner of Houston, TX; his great grandchildren, Kenzleigh and Carter Wendtlandt; and his siblings, JoAnn Fisher (Torance) of Gladstone, MO, Laurie Larsen (Gil) of Bloomfield, NE and Joe Kleffner of Dacono, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
