He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kahlandt, Sr. and Emily Kahlandt (Carstens); his wife Joan; his grandson Colton Henry Carraher; and his siblings, George Kahlandt, Glen Kahlandt, Clarence Kahlandt, Delmar Kahlandt, Ed Kahlandt, Earl Kahlandt, Florence Ostransky and Robert Kahlandt.
He is survived by: his former wife Rachel Kahlandt (Chard); his children, James Wesley "Wes" Kahlandt (Vicky) of Clinton, UT and Wendy Carraher (Matt) of Spalding, NE.; his grandchildren, Brittany Kahlandt, Alissa Kahlandt, Clayton Carraher and Molly Carraher; his great grandchildren, Matthew Kahlandt and Dalton Kahlandt; and his sisters, Margaret Andrews (Melvin) of Albion, NE and Dorothy Stutzman of Burwell, NE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and current Covid-19 DHM's effective will be followed at the visitation and funeral, and masks will be required.
