He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ballweg and Mary Ballweg (Bloemer); his son John Ballweg of Spalding; his wife Mary Batenhorst; his daughter Margaret Bach; his brother John Ballweg (Genevieve); and his parents-in-law, Eileen Schmitz (George), Madalaine Gemar, Jean Mahoney (Richard) and Tom Batenhorst (Eileen).
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Rolf (Allan) of Spalding; his son-in-law David Bach of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Josh Heimbuch, Kyle Rolf, Kelli Breed (Tyler), Katie Dvorak (Josh) and Brian Bach; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Kaleb, Raiden, Haydn, Harper, Landen, Karsyn and Baby Girl Breed; and his sister-in-law Edna Ballweg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to St. Michael's Church or Spalding Academy.
