He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Zinn and Madeline Zinn (Gillen); his wife Joanne Rys; his sons, James and Ronald M.; and his siblings, Dale and Donna.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheryll Moore (Stuart) of Sioux City and Sandy Burke (Bill) of Sioux City; and his grandchildren, Angie Torno (Reggie), Tessa Zinn, Billy Zinn (Nikki), Jacob Moore (Kaylyn) and Drew Moore (Danielle). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Regency Square Assisted Living or Hospice of Siouxland.
