It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Samuel Stephan (South Sioux City, Nebraska), born in Hubbard, Nebraska, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel S. Stephan and Faye V. Stephan (Newman); his siblings, Ramona Stephan Rohde and Richard Stephan; and his mother-in-law Pearl Poole Franks.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Franks; his children, Tracia Blom, Terri Lahn (Eugene), Tammi Gorski (Scott) of Sioux City and Todd Stephan (Wendy) of Fort Dodge, Iowa; his brother Ralph Stephan (Cleo); and his sisters-in-law, Kay Harder of Ponca, Barb Stephan and Susan Kotula (LeRoy) of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial be offered to Hospice of Siouxland, or to the family for a memorial to be designated at a later date.
