He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Schleusener and Alyce Schleusener (Kai); his brother Duane; his uncle Dennis Schleusener; his stepson Michael Hingst; his daughter-in-law Lori Hingst; his nephew Cletis Wilke; and his granddaughter Mackenzie Kolleck.
He is survived by: his daughter Heidi Hingst (Scott); his wife Colleen Hingst (Skow); his daughter Holly; his grandchildren, Ashley Ogden (Jason), Tim Asfeld, Rachel Asfeld, William Kolleck, Sam Asfeld, Alexander Kolleck, Noah Kolleck and Lincoln Schleusener; and his great grandchildren, Koi, Jacob, Keaton and Jordon Ogden.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home (1431 W 29th St, South Sioux City, NE 68776). A prayer will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church.
