It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merline Awiszus (South Sioux City, Nebraska), born in Laurel, Nebraska, who passed away on April 18, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arthur and Maria A. Brandow (Sutherland); her husband Alfred; and her siblings, Fay, Irvin, Donna, Dorine, Bill and Maxine.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Rasmussen (Bob) of Monrovia, CA, Larry Kinnear (Debbie) of Ponca, NE and Lori McMahon (Jerry) of Fort Dodge, IA; and her grandchildren, Alex Rasmussen, Mandy Verzani, Mindy Anderson and Ethan McMahon. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
