She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Phillip and Barbara Catherine Abbe (Sabatino). She is survived by: her former husband Randy Wilde; her children, Christina Undine (Jason) of Sioux City and Joshua Wilde (Amanda) of Sioux City; her grandchildren, Shalei, Staysha, Syerra Undine, Amara and Kaius Wilde; and her siblings, Patricia Ann Tomaszek (Edward) of Bridgeview, IL, Thomas Michael Abbe of Sioux City, Phyllis Irene Fleenor (Robert "Bud") of Cozad, NE, Phillip Frederick Abbe (Kay) of Sioux City, Hoby John Abbe (Marcia), Toby Abbe and Joseph James John Abbe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials given in Melanie's name may be directed to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.
