She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Farris and Evelyn Farris (Kruger); her brothers, Gary Farris and Bob Farris; and her sister-in-law Nancy Farris.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Meier; her children, Woodrow Meier of Boulder, CO and Kelly Jorgensen (Bryant) of Omaha, NE; her stepson Larry "Scott" Meier of Sioux City, IA; her siblings, Bill Farris (Kris) of Marshalltown, IA and Sharon Agress of Fremont; her sister-in-law Terri Farris of Pensacola, FL; and her grandchildren, Brady Jorgensen, Alisa Hansen and Evan Meier. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family for a future designation.
