He was predeceased by: his close friend Dennis Johnson. He is survived by: his spouse Bonnie Steinbrecher; his parents, Arlyn Wilson and Virginia Wilson; his siblings, Kevin Wilson and Kristi Montgomery (Matt); his stepson Brett Chase; and his son Sean Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
