With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F. Buck formerly of South Sioux City, Nebraska, who passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John F. Buck to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Buck and Hazel Buck (Karsk); and his siblings, Gayle Wayland, James Buck and Keith Buck.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Matney; his children, Jon Buck (Angela) of Hinton and Joy Steemken (Chad) of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Katie Engel (Corey) of Bancroft, NE, Kenzie Buck of Toledo, OH, Eli Buck of Le Mars, Brianna Nolen (C. J.) of Sioux City, Kalleigh Rasmussen of Sioux City, Alec Rasmussen (Ashley) of Pittsburg, KS, Cheyenne Steemken of Sioux City, Tanner Steemken of Champaign, IL and Tucker Steemken of Sioux City; his children, Yako, Nya, Abi and Johnny; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Wayland of Camano Island, WA, Sandy Buck of Council Bluffs, IA and Jo Buck of Tucson, AZ.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the Sunnybrook Hope Center.
