He is survived by: his parents, Walter Nichols and Nora Nichols (McMullen); his spouse Elizabeth Lamont; his children, Michael Winterlin (Sara) of Olympia, WA, David Winterlin (Espie) of Bartow, FL and Vicki Winterlin (Keith Nelson); his grandchildren, Gabriel Nichols (Sheri) of Port Angeles, WA, Timothy Winterlin (Maggie) of Hooper, NE and John Nichols (Casey) of Portland, ME; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Johanna, River and Frances; and his sister Hope Phelan of Miami, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
