She was predeceased by: her son David Paul McFarlin; her stepparents, Richard Williams and Barbara Jean Laass; her grandparents, Paul Herman, Ruth Herman, Herman Laass, Helen Laass and Violet Williams; her aunt Michele Scarponi; her uncle Michael Chach; and also, Kristi Nichols and Anna Scarponi.
She is survived by: her spouse David McFarlin; her daughter Stevie Long; her parents, Herman Laass and Peggy Muzney; her siblings, Jeff Laass, Gary Williams, Karen M. Laass and Debra Williams; her stepsiblings, Randy Muzney, Ethan Muzney, Cass Muzney, Peggy Jo Ott, Stephanie Muzney, Kylee Hiveley and Liberty Davidson; her nieces, Stephanie Totten, Caitlin Neimeyer (Mason) and Lauren Laass; her nephew Richie Lewis; her sister-in-law Karen I. Laass; her aunts and uncles, Beth Hendershot, Joanne Kniss, Elaine Chach, Angie Lewis, Vincent Scarponi and Ken Williams; her friend Maria Long; and also Darrel Muzney.
She loved caring for Alzheimer's patients and worked in several facilities in Omaha before moving to South Sioux City in 1997.
