He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Ahrendt and Elsa Ahrendt (Meyer); his wife Dolores C. Ahrendt (Faust); his children, Linda Friedow (Rory) of Kanawha, Michael Ahrendt (Debbie) of Sioux City and Laura Vanden Bosch (Dan) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Caelen Friedow (Megan) of Kanawha, Braden Friedow (Heather) of Polk City, Jordan Butler (Chris) of Eden Prairie, Minn, Cody Ahrendt (Krista) of Eden Prairie, Austin Ahrendt of Fort Worth, Skylar and Eric Vanden Bosch of Des Moines; his great grandchildren, Addison, Carson Friedow of Kanawha, Harrison Friedow of Polk City and Sloane Butler of Eden Prairie; and his siblings, Harold Ahrendt (Karen) of Woodland Park, Colo., Ruth Lange of Rockwell City and Mary Lou Schmidt of Ocheydan. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren, and hosting family and friends.
