He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fahey Sheehan and Maurine Sheehan (Gard); his wife Rosemary McGuirk; and his brother Dennis Sheehan (Maureen). He is survived by: his children, Rev. John Patrick Sheehan of Monticello, NY and Julie Anne Sheehan; his grandson Miles Mannion Thorsen of East Quogue, NY; his son Robert Pierson Sheehan (Sarah Sheahan) of New York, NY.; and his siblings, Joseph Sheehan (Patricia) and Maureen Ann Sheehan. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sioux City Symphony or Gehlen High School would be appreciated.
