She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Etchison and Marie Etchison (Dethlefs); her husband Eugene "Gene" Chester; and her siblings, Wyland, Mardeen and Clarrene.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Chester of Omaha, Dawn Anderson of Sioux City and Christine Martin of Northfield, Minnesota; and her siblings, Marliss, Robert, Shelly and Mark. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
