He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nelson; his children, Charlene Dorcey (Frank) of York, NE, Doug Nelson (Lisa) of Jackson, NE, Barbara Hayes (Joe) of Jackson, NE, Bill Nelson (Charlotte) of Floresville, TX, Jim Nelson (Christina) of Jackson, NE, Jeff Nelson (Shelly) of Omaha, NE and Mary Koogler (Steve) of Altoona, IA; his grandchildren, Abby, Haley, Mallory (Zachary Nelson), Morgan Nelson and Delaney (Miley Koogler); his great grandchildren, Brock and Teagan Nelson; his siblings, Gary Nelson and Janice Meister of Kingsley, IA.; and his grandsons, Ryan Dorcey, Noah Dorcey, Michael Dorcey, Taylor Nelson, Jeremy Nelson, Timmy Hayes, Matthew Hayes and Zachary Nelson.
