She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Eunice'Benedict'Rall; her husband William'Bill'Smeal of Snyder; her daughter Janelle Robart; and her grandson William P. Smeal.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Kreikemeier (Richard) of Snyder, John Smeal (Peggy) of Scribner, Michael Smeal (Gaye) of Snyder, Anita Kreikemeier (John A.) of North Bend, Thomas Smeal (Sally) of Snyder, Joyce Janecek (Albin), Joseph Smeal of Scribner, James Smeal of Fremont, Patrick Smeal (Monica) of Snyder and Beth Schuetze (Glen) of West Point; and her sister Wanda Ernesti (Ray) of West Point. She is also survived by 61 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (208 Ash St, Scribner, NE 68057). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Recorded Funeral Service. A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (208 Ash St, Scribner, NE 68057). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
