He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Meyer and Elsie Meyer (Schneider); his daughter Taunya; and his sister-in-law Aletia Nissen. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Janelle Nissen; his great grandchildren, Shaunna Meyer (Scott Leigh), Tim Meyer of Littleton, CO, Yvonne Meyer (John Davis), Dan Meyer (Claudia) of Buford, GA, Adrian, Alexandra and Liana; his siblings, Diana Harnisch (Burdell) and Harvey Meyer (Beverly); and his brothers-in-law, LaWayne Nissen (Pam) and Leo Nissen. He is also survived by 7 children, 13 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial destinations will include the Orphan Grain Train (Norfolk NE) and the Marlex Secondary School (Marangu, Tanzania).
