He was predeceased by: his parents, James Novel and Marie W. Kirby (Schlesinger); and his brothers, Ben and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Betty M. Griffiths of Silver Creek; his children, Mike Kirby of Silver Creek, Deb Kirby of Lincoln, Patty Hair (Ted) of Hickman, Dana Kirby (Angie) of Silver Creek and Theresa Smith (Jim) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Lanea Hair, Dillon Kirby, Taylor Jones (Reid), Trey Hair, McKayla Kirby, Colton Kirby and Brittany Roberts (Calvin); his great grandchild Beckham Roberts; and his brother Dennis Kirby (Joyce) of Silver Creek. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
