He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Segelke and Martha Segelke (Braasch); his wife Sharon Hall; and his siblings, Bill, Harold, Arlo, Larry, Dorothy and Sharon.

He is survived by: his son Brad Segelke (Melanie); his grandsons, Chance and Colton of Peetz, CO; his son Chad Segelke of Denver, CO; his sister Nancy Hare of Canyon, TX; and his close friend Elaine Raffelson of Padroni, CO..

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (2305 San Marino Rd, Sidney, NE 69162).

In lieu of flowers, tribute memorials can be made to the Peetz School Athletic Fund, Be Here, Suicide Awareness, or the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
