She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry P. Gewecke and Ida Gewecke (Krug); her husband Arnold Muehling; and her siblings, Leland Gewecke and Edna Rainey.

She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Muehling (Candy) of Omaha, David Muehling (Glenda) of Omaha and Darrel Muehling (Barbara) of Pullman, Washington; and her sister Eleanora Dittmer of Modesto, California. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives.

Mable asked that donations be given to Rejoice Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska.
