Loraine Brauer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loraine Brauer of Sidney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loraine Brauer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Nelson and Emma Nelson; her husband Edward "Ed" Brauer of Krueger's Lake; her son Bruce; and her sister Lois Jean.
She is survived by: her sons, Kent Brauer (Mary Kay) of Sidney and Craig Brauer (Carla) of Sidney; her grandchildren, Julia Bettinger (Kevin) of Buffalo, WY, Nick Brauer of Sidney, Jennifer Ford (Ryan) of Leawood, KS, Karl Brauer (Vanessa) of Lubbock, TX, Kurt Brauer of Sidney, Jesssica Echtenkamp (Will) of Minneapolis, MN and Josh Brauer (Alexandria) of Lincoln, NE; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Graham, Parker, Ella, Edward, Elisabeth and Evelyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (2305 San Marino Rd, Sidney, NE 69162). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
