With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Rood (Sidney, Nebraska), who passed away on October 25, 2019 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillian Rood to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henzl and Agnes Anna Henzl (Skrdlant); her husband Vernon; and her siblings, Helen Phelps and Ken Henzl.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Ewert (Rick) of Mesa, AZ, Loren Rood (Geri) of Sidney, Dean Rood (Tess) of Sidney, Darcy Hays (Daryll) of Crawford, NE and Robb Rood (Connie) of Sidney. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild and numerous extended family members and friends.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thursday from 1-7:00 P.M. with family present from 4-6:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made in Lillian's name in care of Camp Lookout or the Table of Grace.
