With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Rieken of Sidney, Nebraska, born in Gurley, Nebraska, who passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonard Rieken to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Rieken (Oliverius); his wife Mary Ann Rieken; his daughter Rose Jean Rieken; his father Bernard Rieken; his brother Donald Rieken; his sister-in-law Marilyn Rieken (Brinkhaus); and his sister Mildred "Milly" Wegner.

He is survived by: his sons, Ron Rieken of Sidney, NE, Keith Rieken (Marilyn) of San Diego, CA and Chris Rieken (Glenda) of Sidney, NE.; and his grandsons, Elijah Rieken of Denver, CO, Brian Rieken (Chandra) of Waxhaw, NC, Kevin Rieken (Toni) of Plain City, OH and Brett Rieken of San Diego, CA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Leonard's name to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
