Helen Policky Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 101, Helen Policky of Sidney, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Carlson and Christina Carlson; her husband Joe Policky (Potter); her son Michael (Lorraine); her grandson Brian Policky; and her siblings, Eda Lipska, Esther Carlson, Vera Dickerson, Ted Carlson, Edna Carlson, Hildur Johnson and Fred Carlson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Zoann Policky) of Los Gatos, CA, David (Maureen Policky) of Lincoln, NE and Patty (Dennis Slama) of Potter, NE.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to Prairie West Church, Policky Scholarship—a scholarship awarded each year to a Potter-Dix graduate, or donor's choice.
