He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin A. Kampfe and Ida Kampfe (Block); his wife Beatrice Kuskie (Beeb); and his siblings, Orva Larson (Avon), Lester Kampfe (Roberta), Regina Bradley (Art) and Verla Heger (Norbert).
He is survived by: his children, Richard Paul (LaVon) of Sidney and Sharon Habkirk (Don) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Jon Gendreau (Karyn), Michael Gendreau (Terri), Bart, Jeff Gendreau (Patricia), Diane Hradecky (Jeff), Paul Kampfe (LeAnn) of Sidney, Jordan (Katie), Emerald, Aeniayh, Gianna, Sarina, Grant Gendreau, Kylee, Kaden Kampfe, Isaac and Sabrina Richer-Steel; and his great great grandchildren, Bailey, Oliver, Marcie and Halo. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Brule Fire Dept. or St. John's Lutheran Church.
