He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hume and Nellie Hume; his brother Don; his wife Maxine; and also Jerald.
He is survived by: his brother Jerald; his sons, Steve (Karen) of Sidney, Richard (Debra) of Lodgepole and Russell (Theda) of Sidney; his sister Ila Mae Hixon; and his sister-in-law Gladys Hume. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, (26) great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
