She was predeceased by: her mother Ramona Smith (Hubbel); her daughter Susan Smith; her father Don Smith; and her brother Don Smith Jr. (L. "Lefty" Merritt). She is survived by: her former husband Richard Smith; her daughter Linda; her spouse L. "Lefty" Merritt; her stepson Michael Merritt; her daughter-in-law Kathy Merritt; her grandsons, Bradley Wilson (Kelley) and Andrew Wilson (Allison); her stepgrandsons, Tony Merritt (Christina) and Christopher Merritt; her great grandchildren, Silas, Jamin Wilson, Kendra and Jeff Merritt; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Matthew Ramold and Nathanial Merritt.

Contributions may be made in Diane's name to the Cheyenne County Community Center, the Junior Golf League or the donor's choice.
