He is survived by: his wife Mickie Hoban; his children, Magen Hartzler and Marcus Hartzler; his grandchildren, Kaiden Shatto of Douglas, WY and Millee Hartzler of Bennington, NE; his mother Gladys Hartzler of Sidney; his siblings, Steve Hartzler (Angie) of Sidney, Brad Hartzler of Bedford, TX and Traci Brachtenbach (Larry) of Casper, WY; his mother-in-law Marolyn Hoban of North Platte, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Andy Hoban (Elery) of Nixa, MO, Tony Schultz of North Platte, NE, Amber Hoban of North Platte, NE and Lori Hartzler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends.
