He was predeceased by: his parents, William O'Brien Sr. and Doris O'Brien (Lange); his wife Delores O'Brien; and his siblings, Laverne O'Brien, Verna Flynn and Dolores Plante.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Laura Kellogg of Caney, KS, Sam Reed (Trina) of Caney, KS and Carrie Reed of Joplin, MO; and his brother Jim O'Brien (Carol) of Loup City, NE. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
