She is survived by: her children, Juan Chavez, Jr. (Beverly) of Kearney, Alfredo Chavez of Kearney, Patricia Lanini (Frank) of Seneca, SC, Jose "Joe" Chavez (Serena) of Shelton, Michael Chavez of Shelton and Pauline Chavez of Shelton; and her siblings, Guadalupe Garcia of Kearney, Pauline Ayala of Bensenville, IL, Lidia Tonsul (Conrad) of Skokie, IL, Joe Torres of Baton Rouge, FL, Rosario Baxter (Jim) of Pleasanton, Rosalinda Mumm (Alton) of Waterloo, NE, Margarita Beatty (Rick) of Kearney, Antonio Torres (Beth) of Pensacola, FL and Armando Torres of Gillette, WY. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
