With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita T. Ruiz of Shelton, Nebraska, born in Cameron, Texas, who passed away on January 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Trevino and Marciana Trevino (Alvarado); her husband Pablo Ruiz; her children, Pablo Jr. and Gloria Britt; her son-in-law Tino Salinas; and her siblings, David Trevino, Mike Martinez and Susie Casas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen Salinas of Olathe, KS and Crestina Ruyle (Roger) of Shelton; her grandchildren, Jason, Jon Ruyle, Gabriel, Alicia and Angela Salinas; and her siblings, Josie Rendon of Lubbock, TX, Armando Martinez of Lubbock, TX and Minnie Washinton of Grand Island. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
