It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Kruger (Shelton, Nebraska), who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Kruger and Marie Kruger (Budd); his brother Max Kruger; his sister-in-law Maren Rouse (Kruger); his son-in-law Tim Kicker; and his brother-in-law Robert Hotz.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Smith of Gordon, NE; his children, Don (Tammie) of Bowman, ND, Mark (Kay) of Gordon, NE, Steven, David (LaTisha) of Rapid City, SD, Steve (Vickie) and Laura Kicker of Chadron, NE; and his sister Donna Hotz of Whiteclay, NE. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
